Brugada Syndrome
There is a genetic disorder that causes sudden cardiac death known as the Brugada Syndrome. Although it is quite easy to guess who discovered it, the syndrome itself is so discrete that it become one of the worst enemies for its sufferers.
Sudden cardiac death
There are 30,000 cases of sudden cardiac death each year in Spain, and many millions worldwide. 80% of cases occur in individuals over 35 with some sort of existing cardiac disease.
