Sudden cardiac death affects thousands of people each year, and the use of a defibrillator in the first few minutes is essential to saving these lives. At the Brugada Foundation, we have collaborated with the installation and use of outdoor automatic defibrillators in public spaces, and we educate the public on how to use them. These devices are so simple that they can be used by anyone.
The lives saved thanks to the defibrillation programs encourage us to keep on installing cardio-protection devices in markets, schools and sports centres all over the country. The more the number of defibrillators grow, the more we will reduce the effects of sudden cardiac death on our society
